Poultry wastes particularly for layer varities that are kept in a confined shed produce innumerable problems & is one of the greatest problems in India so far. Many a times, its moisture contents are so high (more than 80%) and that pave the way for perfect breeding ground of flies. Such wastes produce bad odour. Insecticides, pesticides, kerosene & larvicides are used in heavy doses to prevent flies population.
